Greg Vinson is from Wetumpka, AL and fishes on the Bassmaster Elite Series.
Greg began fishing tournaments at a young age and always had the dream of fishing at the top level of professional bass fishing. He had success at the local and regional level through the BFL, BASS Opens and Rayovac Tournament trails while still continuing to work full-time as an Environmental Scientist for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
After qualifying for the Elite Series in 2009 Greg quit his job to devote himself full-time to bass fishing. In his 4th year as an Elite Series angler Greg finished in 2nd place at the 2012 Bassmaster Classic on the Red River. Greg continues to find success as an Elite Series Pro and has once again qualified for the Bassmaster Classic in March of 2016!
